What We Do For You

• Effective Communication
• Consumer Information
• Consumer Protection Program

A continuing Protection Program is being offered by Speedy Transmission Centers to ensure thorough, trouble-free service. In an effort to improve customer relations. Speedy Transmission Centers offers a Consumer Satisfaction and Protection Plan. One of the most significant aspects of the Customer Relations Program is the toll-free Speedy Consumer Hot Line, 1-800-336-0310.

The Speedy objective is to deliver competent, satisfactory work at a fair price. Speedy wants to demystify the transmission repair field and communicate clearly with customers. And if customers have a complaint, Speedy wants them to know they are listening - and responding. Speedy hopes that its own improved performance standards will help customers and serve as a model to others in the field.

Speedy is demanding high-quality performance throughout its six-state franchise network. If a particular center fails to meet the criteria, it runs the risk of being expelled. Speedy is not asking consumers to 'Trust them'; they are proving why they should. The Speedy franchise network, one of the largest transmission repair chains in the Southeast, has developed it's Consumer Protection Program by monitoring information from the State Attorney Generals’ Office, Better Business Bureaus, Governmental Consumer Affairs Departments, Chambers of Commerce, The Automatic Transmission Service Group(ATSG), a national professional organization, and the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).

In the state of Florida where Speedy Corporate Headquarters is located, there are minimal state-legislated regulations for automotive repair and the industry as a whole has endured a spotty reputation. In an effort to protect area residents, Broward County and Dade County passed an ordinance requiring the licensing of automotive shops and mechanics. The requirements mandate ASE certification, the industry's highest national standards. Speedy decided to make the ASE Certification Program mandatory not only in Broward and Dade County, Florida, but also throughout the Speedy Transmission multi-state network. Speedy has been exploring ways the public and private sectors might work together to educate and protect the consumer. The ASE program addresses the problem of quality control and technical competency within the Speedy organization. Speedy wants its customers to feel comfortable if they have a problem, to be able to talk with someone who is accountable at the corporate level. That is one of the many advantages of dealing with a franchise organization.
